The present invention discloses a refrigerator which can keep the contents in a non-frozen state by an electric f ield generated by a radio frequency voltage. The ref rigerator includes a setting unit f or setting a amplitude and f requency of a voltage, a generating unit f or generating an electric f ield according to the voltage having the set amplitude and f requency, and applying the electric f ield to a storing space f or storing the contents, and a f reezing cycle f or cooling the storing space. The contents are kept in a non-f rozen state below a phase transition temperature.
